Following up on my last post, I decided to search Etsy for custom handmade promotional items (other than business cards). Here are just a few of the sellers who create all kinds of promos, offering pinback buttons, customized tags, pocket mirrors, vinyl car decals, stickers, magnets, keychains, coasters and more:
kittycrossbones
wistfulsupplies
Diavolina
ceejay77
monsterpromos
moxierings
PromosInaSnap
Weakness
messageonabutton
minepress
glassidentities
ButtonDivas
And, putting a practical twist on the recently maligned plain ‘ol business card, SassyCat offers magnetic biz cards. Nice.
ChristineRenee has another creative take on business cards: she’ll make your cards into a little spiralbound book, which is both cost effective (they’re about a dollar apiece) and has practical use for the recipient! I have purchased custom buttons from ChristineRenee, so I can testify that she does a great job and is a pleasure to work with.
PinkQuartzMinerals has vegan lip balm that you can design your own label for.
With all these options, plus Alchemy, you really can get anything you want on Etsy!

You know, I’d been considering moving on from business cards because god knows, as much stuff as I order, I *rarely* hang on to the cards.
What I have hung on to though, is a magnet. It’s still on the fridge and I do notice it every once in a while. And you’re right, you do get a better return on investment even if the cost makes you balk at first, as long as that translates into sales.

Just saw I was in your list and was reading through.. I have to agree with the magnets.. I have a fridge covered in the ones people have sent me. I might have to think about that.. I use my keychain cards to get peoples attention when we are out and about.. and then when they ask I can give it to them.. people do love getting things.. and since they can clip it on their keys right away it might not get lost so quick.. but to send in packages a magnet one would be great… off to look at some of these shops again

Thank you so much for putting my link on your post!!
I found this via a google search, lol
While I think having a biz card is important, you can also attach a pin-back button to the card as well.
Have a great evening!
